Attack Barcadium Brings Retrogaming to Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Attack Barcadium opened its doors in February, providing the denizens of Murfreesboro and the surrounding area with their very own arcade bar.

Attack Barcadium is the brainchild of David Stansberry – the man behind Popcorn From Mars Theater (which provides top-notch food and entertainment alongside movies) and Frozen Treats From Mars (which sells handmade ice cream, Italian ice, shakes and smoothies.)

His left-of-field entreprenuership has led him to open the third salvo in his diverse portfolio – an arcade bar that features a select collection of arcade games, video consoles and a pinball machine.

There’s also an area dedicated to console games, from retro Nintendo machines to the modern-day Nintendo Switch.

The machines are sourced from a private warehouse featuring over 400 games, leaving Stansberry a lot of variety to switch them out periodically and keep the experience fresh.

According to the Daily News Journal:

“While Attack Barcadium serves up beer, it’s not reserved for adults only all the time”,

From noon to 6 p.m. every Saturday, all ages can play games for just $8 per person.

Otherwise, hours are 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday for 21 and older. Regular admission is $15 for all-you-can-play entertainment. Military and Middle Tennessee State University students with ID get in at a discounted rate.
